“Adopt a Plant Wellness Workshop at the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens”
Join Melanie Priesnitz, Conservation Horticulturist, and step away from your computer and get your hands dirty in the greenhouse at the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre. Spend a mindful moment decompressing, take a brief tour through the research greenhouses, and transplant a new plant to take back to your office. Research from the Canadian Horticultural Therapy association shows that offices containing living plants are healthier, happier, and more productive places to work!
Space is limited, so sign up today! Please bring your own 4-6” clay or plastic pot for your new transplant friend!
