INTRODUCING TELEMEDICINE with GREENSHIELD HEALTH

Re:    INTRODUCING TELEMEDICINE with GREENSHIELD HEALTH  

At Acadia, we are committed to supporting our employees' health and well-being. We are thrilled to share that we are launching a new Telemedicine program by GreenShield Health, available through GreenShield+ (GS+).  

 Our program includes the following service, available through the GreenShield+ app: 

Telemedicine 

Easily gain access to a new virtual telemedicine service through Maple. Access is instant with Maples's network of Doctors; Unlimited visits are fully covered and available through the platform. This new benefit will allow you to connect with general practitioners 24/7/365, communicate via text message, audio, or video chat, manage, and store your medical records, receive medical advice, prescriptions and more. 

For additional health support, GreenShield+ also provides access to an ecosystem of health services to support you and your family.
  

To start accessing your telemedicine program on GreenShield+:    

  1. Go to https://app.greenshieldplus.ca/en/sign-up  
  2. Select “Through an Employer or Organization” 
  3. Enter your Organization Code AcadiaU  
  4. Enter your Acadia email to use as your sign-in ID and complete the steps to verify your email address. 
  5. Set-up your unique password using credentials listed. 
  6. Log into the  GS+ dashboard, select Telemedicine Services, follow prompts.  
  7. To explore other health services, return to the GS+ homepage. Counselling and online Pharmacy services are available at an additional cost to you. 

Your telemedicine program by Maple provided by GreenShield Health launches MAY 1, 2024.
